  28. In the Quadra 700 there are six VRAM slots. Adding more VRAM does NOT
  29. speed anything up (some techie may catch me there; there might be some
  30. acceleration as far as graphics are concerned, but it would be minimal)
  31. The true prupose of VRAM is to allow more colors on a monitor, but that
  32. depends on the size of the monitor: 2megs of VRAM (0.5 on board + 1.5 
  33. installed) will give you 24 bit color on 13' and 16' monitors, but only
  34. 8 bit color on a 21".
