- This isn't actually for me, but for the guy who this should be followed up
- to:

- His computer is automatically rebuilding the desktop file on one of his
- partitions everytime he boots up, whether from the system on the HD, or
- from Disk Tools. He's tried re-installing the system (albeit without a
- total system folder throw away) and starting up without extensions.
