  15. This isn't actually for me, but for the guy who this should be followed up

  18. His computer is automatically rebuilding the desktop file on one of his
  19. partitions everytime he boots up, whether from the system on the HD, or
  20. from Disk Tools.  He's tried re-installing the system (albeit without a
  21. total system folder throw away) and starting up without extensions.

  23. Anyone have any idea as to what's going on here?
