  12. I am posting this for someone else. I have no clue about Macs - so
  13. please bear with me.

  15. The hard drive in a Mac SE seems to be corrupted. How do you go about
  16. recovering the files in the hard drive? Is there a Norton-type utility
  17. that I can use to recover them? It would help to know exactly what steps
  18. one ought to follow in recovering the files and reformatting the drive. 
  19. I appreciate the help. Since I don't read this group frequently
