  12. Can anyone supply specifications for the D to A converter, and for the  
  13. low-pass filter and amplifier between that and the sound output, on a Mac  
  14. Classic II? I need to know about levels of distortion etc.

  16. (The sounds I am using are normalized to maximum 8-bit amplitude, and  
  17. consist of superposed pure tone components in the frequency range 130 to  
  18. 4200 Hz. The sounds are created in Csound, turned into resource files  
  19. using Sound Designer II, and called from a C program.)
