  36. I have an SE/30 that developed the same problem after I moved it about a
  37. year ago...talked to an authorized apple repairman, who told me that what
  38. happened was that the video tube rotated slightly with respect to the case
  39. (probably as a result of a bump to the side of the case).  Apparently
  40. it's a quick matter to fix, although he _did not_ recommend that I do it
  41. myself...too much danger of touching the wrong thing and knocking myself
  42. across the room.  He said it takes only minutes to fix, i.e., you'll have
  43. to pay your authorized dealer whatever their minimum service charge is.
  44. (There is was $25.)  Alternatively, you can leave it alone, and he said there'd
  45. be no ill effect to your Mac.  I haven't ever had mine fixed, as the tilt is
  46. small.
