- I got an NEC 3FGx running in 16in (832x624) witht the Emachine ColorLink
- SX board and a custom cable....the monitor works, actually I like the
- 84dpi better than 72, but the colors are all fucked up...the pallete is
- all pastel, can't do anything about it...I think this is due to the fact
- that the 3FGx and I suspect the 4FG don't have 832x624 as native
- resolutions...they are not mentioned in the manuals, only 600x800 and
- 1024x768 are mentioned, and so the color gets wacked...

- The 5FG works fine at 832x624, but then again it is a 17in monitor...

- From experience, if you want 16 in resolution, get a SONY, Mitsubishi or
- an Apple monitor that was designed after 1991...anything else (eg, NEC)
- will not worp 'properly' at 16 in mode.... Better yet buy the SuperMac
- 16in Which is now about $950 in MacWeek....
