  12. I just got a HP48SX scientific calculator.  It is capable of making kermit
  13. transfers with other HP48's, PC's, and Macs.  But they charge you 30 dollars
  14. for the wire to go from your modem/printer port to the HP.  I'd much rather
  15. make one myself.  I grabbed this from the faq for comp.sys.hp48:

  27. That's the config of the port on the HP.  I have already fashioned a jack to 
  28. fit it (it's an odd size that you can't buy), and finding a 9-pin mini-din
  29. that fits in the serial port of my LC should be no problem.  And then I have
  30. a mere 3024 possible wire combinations to try...

  32. Can anyone provide me with a pin diagram for the modem/printer port that might
  33. give me some insight as to what goes where?  Anyone had any related experience
  34. doing this?  Hell, anyone have instructions?
