  38. This is sort of a response to your question (in a roundabout sorta way).  Why
  39. not look into getting a Syquest drive?  The price is very similiar ($399) for 
  40. the 44 MB version.  Cartriges do cost more (~$60) but you are getting a
  41. larger cartridge.

  43. And teh Syquest are much faster.  They are on par with hard drive for seek &
  44. transfer rates whereas flopticals are on par with floppies.  So why are
  45. people even considering flopticals?

  47. For you Andrew, if you need the drive more for backups than for reading
  48. dos disks, maybe you should consider the Syquest.
