- Digidesign makes a nubus card that does just that. It is called the SampleCell.
- The card it a 16-bit multi-timbral 16-voice sample-playback card for musical
- applications. It could be overkill depending on what you want to do. It
- also comes with a CD-ROM loaded with sampled sounds (instruments, not star trek
- clips!).
