- True, you can run an AppleTalk connection with a printer cable between
- TWO macs. However, if the desktop mac is part of a larger network,
- there could be some reason it's owner/administrator may not want you to
- pull it off the net to hook up your Duo (what if it's an active
- fileserver, for example). I suspect that's what they had in mind
- recommending the phone-net hardware.....
