- based on macweek, ClassicII is actually a LCII in one compact case.with 16 mhz
- 68030, 16 bit bus, 10 inch screen (512 * 384) with 8 bit color, and no fpu. and
- apple will have something like classic IV later this year with 14 inch screen.
- classicIII will have a price of 1400, while LCII's price will be lower to 1000.
-
- my question is: how can apple market this thing? it is no cheaper than an LCII
- with 14 inch monitor and is much less flexible. if the screen size is bigger
- than classic, it is logical the case is also bigger, and it is logical the
- owners of classic and classicII will not be able to upgrade. i think one case
- design is only good if the whole thing is small, i can't even imagine what
- will a one case computer look like with 14 inch monitor.
-
- i think apple will be better off by using the same case and make classicII
- upgradable. any thought?
