- Just my $.02 worth. I have on occasion run into bad disk, or rather the
- students using our lab have, and Disk First Aid 7.1 was the only program
- that would fix the problem long enough to retrieve the data. "Only"
- includes MacTools Deluxe, Norton, and many, many shareware programs. So,
- although DFA is probably a last resort for me, IT HAS worked correctly and
- saved much possibly lost data. Why isn't it the first thing I use?
- Probably because it isn't as friendly and "pretty" as the others (are you
- reading this Apple? You guys wrote the book on this. Shame, shame ;-)).
