  13. I have had a MACII with a 13in Apple HiRes Monitor and an 8 bit video
  14. card for about 5 years.  A couple of weeks ago the monitor quit.  When
  15. I took the powere supply out it was discoverd that some wires were cold
  16. soldered.  These wires were resoldered and all worked fine for about
  17. 2 weeks.  Earlier this week the monitor just shutoff.  I restarted the
  18. system and the monitor came up fine and stayed on.  This morning the
  19. monitor again shut off.  I shut down and restarted the monitor came up
  20. again but then shut down almost immediately and wouldn't restart.  I
  21. waited about a half an hour and tried it again and it came up ok and 
  22. has remained on for the last 2 hours.

  24. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong and how to fix it?
