- Well, I'm sure that people would like to be able to tell you about
- any problems they are having with the new Apple Express Modem, but no
- one has one yet, so they can't. And yes, the compression and error
- correction tasks are not implemented on the modem because it is too
- small to fit the data pump chip, so they are offloaded to the '030.

-
- There are no other internal modem options for the Duo, yet. And why
- do people keep expecting the modem to be slow? Unless you are planning
- on doing lots of downloading in the background, the 25 or 33 Mhz '030
- should be able to handle any modem tasks sent to it.

-
- No they are not shipping yet, but a lot of stores have them listed.
- I'm hoping that the two Express Modems that I have on order will arrive
- at the same time as the 180 that I'm also waiting for...
