  24.     Well, I'm sure that people would like to be able to tell you about
  25. any problems they are having with the new Apple Express Modem, but no
  26. one has one yet, so they can't. And yes, the compression and error
  27. correction tasks are not implemented on the modem because it is too
  28. small to fit the data pump chip, so they are offloaded to the '030.

  33.     There are no other internal modem options for the Duo, yet. And why
  34. do people keep expecting the modem to be slow? Unless you are planning
  35. on doing lots of downloading in the background, the 25 or 33 Mhz '030
  36. should be able to handle any modem tasks sent to it.

  42.     No they are not shipping yet, but a lot of stores have them listed.
  43. I'm hoping that the two Express Modems that I have on order will arrive
  44. at the same time as the 180 that I'm also waiting for...
