  16.     I would like to know about apple's expres modem for the Powerbook
  17. Duo.  In MacWeek, they said that it would operate at up to 14.4k bps, but
  18. that some of the error correction and compression was implimented in
  19. software.  Does anyone have one of these puppies and can they tell me how
  20. much performance degradation there is?
  21.     If this modem is too slow, are there other internal modem options for
  22. the duo?
  23.     Finally, the MIT Computer Store has them listed, but they don't know
  24. when the apple express modem will be in stock.  Are these modems actually
  25. shipping right now?
