  11.     I am having trouble installing a set of four 4MB SIMMS into my
  12. Quadra 700.  I have previously installed four 1MB SIMMS with no problem.
  13. I bought a set of four 4MB SIMMS that are rated at 70ns so they should
  14. be fast enough.  When I installed the 4MB SIMMS, the computer won't
  15. even give the startup sound of the four musical tones.  When I reinstalled
  16. the 1MB SIMMS, the computer was fine.  I then installed the 4MB SIMMS
  17. into a IIci and they worked perfectly!!!  I was assured by the company
  18. I bought the SIMMS from that they were 70nanoseconds.  I have tried
  19. re-installing the 4MB SIMMS into the Quadra but they still don't work.
  20. Does anyone have any knowledge about specific Quadra 700 incompatibilities???
  21. Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions???  Any help would be greatly
  22. appreciated.  Thanks.
