- You ask if there is a way to delete a file from a Retrospect
- session. The answer is no, you cannot delete files from Retrospect
- archives.

- Retrospect retains a standard format across each media type it
- supports, and given that most tape media do not support deleting
- a file without erasing an entire tape, we have not added this
- functionality to our SyQuest, floppy and combined file backups.
