- I Recently received an IBM L40 386 SX 20 laptop computer from a friend of
- mine with a small problem; the monitor was busted. I would like to know
- where I could get a replacement monitor, and for how much. Could I do
- the replacement myself after buying the monitor? Also, would it be easier to
- buy a skeleton L40 and just transfer my memory, hard drive, and modem?
- Finally, I tried to hook up the vga port to an external monitor, and no disp-
- lay appeared. I cannot read the lcd screen, so I do not know if there is
- an icon for monitors on the os/2 desktop. Does anyone know what's wrong here?
- Comments by e-mail would be greatly appreciated.
