- I've heard that it is possible to use a HP48 as a remote control
- for a
- TV, home stereo etc. Does anyone know anything about this?? Are there
- any books on the subject??
-
- I've found the program IR_SAMP (available at seq.uncwil.edu) to be very
- successful in recording IR remote signals. With it i can now completely
- control my VCR. I even made my user keyboard like a remode control with
- each button doing a remote task.
-
- BTW use redundancy fighter because it compressess the Remode data strings
- to about 30% of their original size. Ive found 500 to be a length that
- works for recording my Magnavox remote codes.
