- I have an STe 1040 with a SM144 mono monitor, and when I first switch

- them on, the picture is fuzzy - each display line seems to be sliding left and
- right as if the monitor is not syncing properly. At first, the problem only
- occured occasionally and cured itself after about ten minutes, but now I can
- use my computer for hours on end and not get a steady picture. The computer is
- six months old and the monitor about two months. Has anyone encountered this
- sort of problem before, and if so, what caused it?
- Any help would be much appreciated,
