  6.     I have an STe 1040 with a SM144 mono monitor, and when I first switch

  14. them on, the picture is fuzzy - each display line seems to be sliding left and
  15. right as if the monitor is not syncing properly. At first, the problem only
  16. occured occasionally and cured itself after about ten minutes, but now I can
  17. use my computer for hours on end and not get a steady picture. The computer is
  18. six months old and the monitor about two months. Has anyone encountered this
  19. sort of problem before, and if so, what caused it?
