- Just to clear something up - IBM does NOT sell the most computers in the
- world - in fact, IBM is lucky to be number 3 - Apple outsold everybody in
- 1992. If you add IBM machines + clones then total machines sold will be
- more than everybody else sells - but the clone manufacturers are going to
- be the death of IBM as a PC manufacturer - why do you think they need to
- layoff so many people - why did they record nasty losses for 1992???

- Apple will sell its 11 millionth machine sometime this month - thats a HUGE
- user base!

- IBM (as we used to know it - Big Blue) will not exist - expect them to
- discontinue manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of their own machines.
- IBM's future is unclear - but the PC won't be in it - count on that! And
- you can blame the hundreds of cloners and Microsoft!
