- Since I've seen many people rambling on about monitor problems and I'm
- thinking of getting an A4000 in march I thought I had better start finding
- a suitable monitor. I have a small list of A4000 monitors but there are none
- that are 15" and anything above that is way expensive. First of all, would
- anyone like to explain why they have 13" monitors that range from $350-$3000
- and the scan rates are the same. Are you basically paying for garbage
- components in the cheaper ones?
- OK my real issue is, I would like a 15 inch screen for about $500 that
- will work well with an A4000. I'd be willing to go up to about $700 but that's
- pretty much it. $500 is no problem for a SVGA monitor, but I've heard that
- they don't support all the scan rates. So is it hopeless or what? I'm hoping
- that someone on the net has good news for me.
- Thanx for all your help and advice!
