- I have recently succeeded in murdering somebody's poor 500 (yes, I'm
- sentanced to 2 years without a mouse, okay? :) and I can't figure out
- what could be wrong.
-
- I took the 8372A chip out of his computer and put it into mine, and
- did the 1 meg hack and all that rot.. His computer sat in the floor
- (safely, nothing happened to it I know of) for a month while Grapevine
- flittered my ECS Denise around (backordered), and when I finally got
- the chip to replace in the other computer, I came up with a red screen.
-
- That doesn't make sense.. It worked before I took the chip, I made
- sure it did.. Okay.. I swapped chips out and swapping that computers
- Denise with my old (OCS) Denise, I then got a very dark blue screen.
- Dark as in RBG = 002. I can not get it to do anything.
-
- Could someone help me out here? I really can't afford to get his
- computer sent to a shop at the moment, and he probably wants it
- back! (He just plays games every now and then on it, but *I* wouldn't
- want my computer gone for a month.. :)
-
-
- And also, it might not have worked when I got it, but I could not
- get the composite output to work on it. Possible lead to problem
- there..
-
- (Quick note... Is it possible to use an Agnus puller WITHOUT ripping
- up the chip?? I did a doosy on my 8370 chip with it..:(
