: The Cannon BJ printers are definately a sound buy. I have recently been using a BJ10ex and am well pleased with the results I've been getting. The quality is almost laser print standard but it only cost me the price of an average dot matrix printer. The cartridges are available enough ( through mail order ), but may end up costing a bit if you're going to be doing a lot of printing.
:
: Get a paper sheet feeder with it or get the BJ20 which comes with one as standard because standing and feeding the thing sheets by hand on a big job is a real pain in the arse!
:
: As for wordprocessing: I've been using mine with Wordworth 1.1 which has produced quite impressive results. However, I cant seem to get Wordworth and the
: printer to agree on the size of a sheet of A4 paper. Does anyone know any way round this ( apart from altering the page size settings of both the printer and Wordworth which I have tried ) because its doing my head in.

Just wanted to say that I also have a BJ-10e, and I love it. The output is
terrific, and I am happy with what I paid for it. The only downside is speed.
In printing in 'text mode', it isn't as fast as a good dot matrix (although
a LOT quieter) and when printing graphics it isn't as fast as a laser (although
a LOT cheaper). If speed isn't a huge concern, it is probably the best
