- Well, you can do this with practically every dot matrix (needle or ink jet)
- printer I know: Set the line spacing to the value of your vertical resolution
- and drive the head with (null) graphics data to the x coordinate you want.
- If you want to speed up horizontal movement (only necessary for old printers
- perhaps), you can send space characters for the first part of the move and
- graphics nulls for fine adjustments.

- I did this many years ago to plot in real-time with my Epson FX-85. Ok, I
- did not plot dot-wise, but buffered whole 8-bit-height lines, but the rest
- was done as explained above. The y motion of course in both direction, most
- current printers should support this.
