- If you have a blizzard board, could you please help me out?
-
- I just bought one with 5 megs of RAM over the net. I installed it in my A500
- and ever since I have been getting software failures. Once I get one, they just
- keep coming and coming. I've tried to cut down power consumption by disconecting
- my external floppy and audio digitizer. Still gurus... I ran the RAM check
- program and it all checks out ok. What should I do?
-
- I think that maybe there is just too much power drain on my power supply.
-
- My configuration is:
-
- A500 512K chip, 512 fast (A501) 5Meg Fast (blizzard board)
- external ca880 floppy
- Spartan Hard Drive Controller (powered from the computer)
- Quantum 105 and Miniscribe 20 Meg hard drives (powered from a baby AT case.)
-
- I've thought about doing the XT power supply hack. I don't want to fool around
- with it unless I have to though.
-
-
- Has anyone else had problems with their Blizzard Boards?????? If so, what kinds?
-
-
- Thanks,\
- Mike Kopack
