- Sounds reasonable, but who knows if it's true. I'd expect
- such a beast to include the DSP, but it might not be usable for
- a while (until 3.1 is out). It would give more options than the
- current A4000, and would fit in with the idea that the A4000 is the
- bottom of the new high-end line.. I wonder about the PCMCIA slot,
- unless we're going to be seeing SANA II drivers for some PCMCIA
- Ethernet cards soon. What else would you use a PCMCIA card for on
- a A4000-type machine? (Unless, of course, we start seeing PCMCIA
- games :))

- This is just bringing the machine's retail price in line
- with it's street price. My local dealer is selling the A4000
- Power-Up package for $2593, if I remember correctly.
