- I've already gotten Rend24 to do an image conversion. I fail to understand
- why in order to view a picture with Rend24 you must do a conversion operation
- without specifying a destination filename. Why doesn't the menu option for
- viewing a picture do this? I call that poor interface design. The docs
- don't help much, certainly.

- I'm not the first person to post to netnews with complaints, I'm just probably
- the most abrasive thus far.

- By the way, I'm not this critical of all software by this author -- I like
- ViewTek just fine, and in fact I think it's one of the best picture viewing
- utilities I've ever used. This is *not* a personal vendetta. I just hate
- investing the time in downloading something (for instance, the Radiance
- archive -- all 3 megs of it) and not having it work for me after I read the
- docs.
