  30. I've already gotten Rend24 to do an image conversion.  I fail to understand
  31. why in order to view a picture with Rend24 you must do a conversion operation
  32. without specifying a destination filename.  Why doesn't the menu option for
  33. viewing a picture do this?  I call that poor interface design.  The docs
  34. don't help much, certainly.

  43. I'm not the first person to post to netnews with complaints, I'm just probably
  44. the most abrasive thus far.

  46. By the way, I'm not this critical of all software by this author -- I like
  47. ViewTek just fine, and in fact I think it's one of the best picture viewing
  48. utilities I've ever used.  This is *not* a personal vendetta.  I just hate
  49. investing the time in downloading something (for instance, the Radiance
  50. archive -- all 3 megs of it) and not having it work for me after I read the
  51. docs.
