  13. As far as I can tell from talking to engineers I work with that keep tabs on
  14. Motorola (Motorola reps dropped by to talk DSP this week, next week, cpus),
  15. the 68060 may be available by the end of this year.  Judging from the specs
  16. one spews forth at me, it does indeed sound powerful for one's desk!

  18. Also, with Motorola handling the PowerPC cpu (to be used in Apple's and IBM's
  19. joint effort machines), I doubt Motorola is hurting for business.
