  15.     Actually it's not quite that bad, just very annoying.

  19.     I'm using JR-Comm on one end, and UN*X SZ (running on a DEC 5000) on
  20.     the other.

  22.     Problem:  Before the first block and about every 8k after I get a bad
  23.           CRC error.  I know it's not phone trash because we have a very
  24.           reliable service (ie no errors anywhere else), also zmodem
  25.             worked fine up until a couple of months ago.

  27.           I've tried every logical combination of parameters (on both
  28.           ends) that I can think of.  Has anybody else had this problem
  29.           and fixed it.

  31.           Escaping Control characters doesn't help either.

  33.           Incidentally I am running a Hard Drive but the problems 
  34.           started before I got it.
