  42. As stated in the originline below, I have written a .QWK reader. AmiQWK is
  43. currently in version 1.22 (filename AQ_122.LHA), and runs under 1.3 and
  44. 2.0+ (I haven't had a chance to try it under 3.0 yet) In it's current
  45. version it is fairly stable, (despite several enforcer hits) but it
  46. dosen't have very many features, and it only opens in NTSC screen modes.

  48. I am currently in the process of re-writing AmiQWK (the new version will
  49. only have 1 function lifted intact from the previous version) which will
  50. operate in NTSC and PAL screen modes (possibly using the display database
  51. so that it can operate in (almost) any screen mode) as well as being more
  52. full featured. I hope to have it ready for release soon. AmiQWK II will
  53. require 2.04 or better, and I have no plans to continue working on AmiQWK
  54. 1.xx.

  56. Finaly, I am looking for beta testers in NORTH AMERICA (Preferably U.S.,
  57. but I will accept applications from Canada, Mexico, etc.). If you can call
  58. one of my support BBSes (Smithcom BBS, Marion, IL, (618) 997-8009, Pooh's
  59. Corner BBS, Carterville, IL. (618) 985-4747) on a regular basis, EMail me
  60. for a beta tester application.
