  23. Yes, both the GNU tar's for DOS work with a QIC tape, but they
  24. screw up on a Exabyte by defaulting to 512 byte blocks instead of 1k.

  26. Andreas Kaiser's GNU tar for OS/2 2.0 works great with my Exabyte, since
  27. it correctly implements block-size. I wish some programmer could port
  28. the OS/2 tar back to DOS...
