  12. I've got an Adaptec 1542 SCSI controller in an OS/2 1.3 server which happens to have (I didn't install it, nor the operating system) a .BID file called "AHA164x.BID" in the root directory.

  14. If I remove it and replace it with the (correct?) 1542 .BID file (AHA154x.BID), the machine fails to boot.

  16. Why is it that the right driver makes the machine crash?
