- I'm intrested in finding out what all the translation boards do. I've
- seen quite a few describled, but I have not seen a good list.
-
- I will be willing to post the final comphrencive list, but someone might
- have to bug me occassionally.
-
- Some of the converts I have heard about are:
-
- QIC-02 <-> SCSI
- QIC-36 <-> SCSI
- ESDI <-> SCSI
- MFM <-> SCSI
- RLL <-> SCSI
- SMD <-> SCSI
-
- Possibly: the above, but change SCSI to ESDI.
-
- The manufactors of such boards are/WERE:
-
- Adaptec
- NCR
- OMTI/SMS
- EMULEX
-
- Okay, I've gotten a frame down. Fill in the blanks. Follow up the post
- so if the computer I'm on desides to go down, someone else will probably
- be keeping tabs on the info too.
-
- I received some information on the Adaptec SMD <-> SCSI from some kind
- soul from last year. Sorry, I don't recall your name at this time. :-(

- If were so advance, why can't people put grocery carts back where they got
- them from?; Can you survive a day with out a car?
