- I have an Adaptec 1542B. I also have an Ultrastor 14F. The Adaptec is
- hands down winner. The Adaptec card and ASPI manager are much more
- configurable to tweak best performance from your system. Also, the Adaptec
- is being directly supported by OS/2 and WIN NT - with Ultrastor you have
- to wait until they develop drivers for these programs - they will, but
- they are slow to release them. The Adaptec can be configured to run 30%
- faster than the Ultrastor on my system.
