  13. I have an Adaptec 1542B. I also have an Ultrastor 14F. The Adaptec is
  14. hands down winner. The Adaptec card and ASPI manager are much more
  15. configurable to tweak best performance from your system. Also, the Adaptec
  16. is being directly supported by OS/2 and WIN NT - with Ultrastor you have
  17. to wait until they develop drivers for these programs - they will, but
  18. they are slow to release them. The Adaptec can be configured to run 30%
  19. faster than the Ultrastor on my system.
