- We have five EXABYTE 8mm tape drives here and all of them can only store
- about 500Mb on a 112m tape which is supposed to be able to hold more than
- 2GB according to the manual. I have checked this carefully with a whole
- bunch of tapes and on both PC and VAX, and the result is always the same.
- I called EXABYTE and they have no idea about the possible cause. So I am
- asking the net, if anyone has encountered similar problems and knows how
- to fix the problem. Either post and e-mail are fine. E-mail please send
- to xue@cfaft5.harvard.edu. Thanks.
