- There are two ways to format the RD32 in two ways:

- - The DEC diagnostic utilities (the FE ones, not the Customer
- ones) permit drives to be reformatted.

- - There is a disk formatting routine in the MV2000 firmware (if
- you happen to have a MV2000 lying around) which is compatible
- with the RQDX3 controller in the MVII.
