- There are times when you need to read the messages on the screen
- during boot-up. I can slow down my computer by turning turbo off but
- sometimes that's not slow enough.
-
- I know (= I think) I can pause these messages by inserting pauses in
- autoexec.bat and by using PAUSEDEV or TPDEV to pause config.sys; but I
- don't want it to do this *every time* I boot up.
-
- It seems somebody ought to have come up with a program that lets you
- simulate boot-up and print the messages to a file. 'Course I'm way
- over my head here and there may be reasons why it's impossible; but I
- thought it was worth asking. Or maybe there are other solutions to
- this problem?
