- Hello folks,
-
- I need to remove a compiler off a CD-ROM disc that I have. The only
- machine available to me this week is a PS/2 machine with a true blue IBM
- internal CD-ROM drive. The machine is running under MSDOS5.0 with
- Windows 3.1. Its a faculty machine and not mine, but I've been given
- permission to use it. Unfortunately the IBMCDROM.SYS driver in
- the config.sys file expects to find another driver called IBMCD001.
- This driver isn't present on the harddisk. I tried using Norton's
- Undelete to try to find the file on the disk, but to no avail.
-
- If someone has this driver could you please encode it and mail it
- to me. Without the driver, the drive is useless and I won't be
- able to get my compiler from the CD to floppies. :(
