  15. Could someone please enlighten me as to the current status of
  16. terminfo?

  18. I downloaded the new terminfo entries from raven.  When I installed
  19. the new ansipc .ti, cls.c no longer works properly.  It clears the
  20. screen but puts the prompt at the _bottom_ of the screen, not the top.

  22. Also, a "corrected" vt52 entry I am using that "works around" a bug in
  23. terminfo does not work properly, putting the prompt at the bottom also,
  24. and generally not clearing the screen properly, like in minicom.  (This is
  25. an improvement over the original .ti, though, which just produced garbage
  26. on my TRS80 model 4 vt52 emulator.

  28. I'm using the "stock" 4.0.1 kernel.  Do I need a new kernel?
