- The Reception (which is indeed in that timeslot) is constitutionally
- protected :-) and absolutely nothing is scheduled opposite it -- even
- the Terminal Room closes during that timeslot. The idea is to give
- everyone a timeslot when they have no excuse not to go and mingle.

- It's a compromise. There is far too little time available for the BOFs as it
- is. Many people who come only for the technical sessions arrive Tuesday
- afternoon, so Tuesday-evening BOFs are not totally unreasonable. BOFs are
- part of the informal interaction at the conference, which is much more
- important than sitting watching the speakers; the conference starts Tuesday
- evening for all practical purposes. You just have to allow for this.
