  14. In the late 80 there was a CMU project called the "Great American History
  15. Machine"  it had a fantastic amount of historical data including census,
  16. ag census etc.  It had all the changing county boundaries in digital format.

  18. DEC funded the work (I think).  I have tried to track down the system
  19. by contacting CMU history department but have not located it.  If
  20. anyone is familiar with the system it would help Steve (original request)
  21. and I would be grateful also.
