- In the late 80 there was a CMU project called the "Great American History
- Machine" it had a fantastic amount of historical data including census,
- ag census etc. It had all the changing county boundaries in digital format.

- DEC funded the work (I think). I have tried to track down the system
- by contacting CMU history department but have not located it. If
- anyone is familiar with the system it would help Steve (original request)
- and I would be grateful also.
