  15. Description : A Carpet Plot surface is made showing surface height
  16.               variation from one field, with color variations from data
  17.               in a second field. Each cell is drawn as per field to mesh,
  18.               (linear interpolation), or in block mode with descrete
  19.               non-interpolated colors. In block mode, it will
  20.               optionally leave holes in the carpet where the data goes out
  21.               of range for the colormap, allowing mask values to control
  22.               cell visibility, or region boundaries.
