  24. That's a long permissive dialing period.  Here in Illinois we had
  25. only three months permissive dialing on the 312/708 area split, which
  26. wasn't even announced as much in advance as this one was.

  28. Considering the length of the permissive dialling period, I would
  29. guess they plan to put it in the 1994 phone book when permissive
  30. dialling just has taken effect, and there is still good time for
  31. people to learn.
