  15. My problem with the cisco not seeing the last characters in an entry
  16. in an access-list is solved, thanks to Michael Lind:
  17.  
  18. > Make sure that you specified the correct protocol, tcp, instead of  
  19. > ip.  Specifying ip means you are specifying all ip protocols and  
  20. > ports.  The eq 25 is meaningless and discarded by the router.  For  
  21. > example:

  23. > access-list 101 permit tcp 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 140.141.142.143
