- Hi,
- We have a large existing database in PACE that we have to migrate to
- Sybase. I've undertaken to redraw all the entity-relation diagrams, but
- would like a software tool to do this (and maybe generate some of the
- code necessary to build the tables?)
-
- Primarily it should be a documentation tool, but if it can output
- schemas then that would be great. I've heard of DEFT, but believe this
- only runs on the Mac. What experiences have folks had with other tools,
- and what about generic "drawing" packages like Corel? Can they handle
- this type of drawing easily?
-
- Since our database has several *hundred* tables in 3nf, we would need
- something that can handle the linkages and the rat's nest of lines
- connecting boxes.
-
- Thanks in advance!
