- open - statewide examinations for Engineering Geologist and Associate
- Engineering Geologist.

- THE FINAL FILING DATE FOR THESE EXAMINATIONS IS JANUARY 29, 1993.
- APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN THE FINAL FILING DATE.

- In brief, the engineering geologist class is an entry level class
- requiring the equivalent of graduation from college with major work in
- geology, engineering geology, or a closely related field. (Geological
- experience may be substituted for the required education on a
- year-for-year basis.) (Registration as a Senior in a recognized
- institution will admit applicants to the examination, but they must
- produce evidence of graduation or its equivalent before they can be
- considered eligible for appointment.) Salary: Range A -- $2651-3048;
- Range B -- $3035-3659.

- The associate engineering geologist class requires the above education
- plus additional qualifying experience (as outlined in the announcement).
- Salary: $3577-4313.
