  14. As it stands, every time I make a MAJOR move (more than 200 miles),
  15. there has been a major earthquake within 6 months!
  16.  
  17. 1971 - Family moved to N. Orange Co.
  18.     Sylmar quake
  19. 1985 - Hubby and I move to Indiana.
  20.     4.9 shaker (I think)
  21. 1987 - Move back to Torrance, CA
  22.     5.9 Whittier Narrows quake
  23. 1989 - Moved to San Jose
  24.     7.2 Loma Prieta quake
  25. 1992 - Moved to Las Vegas and back
  26.     (Can't say the 5.0 was major, but I have cracks in my walls!)
  27.     Calaveras

  29. Needless to say, we have decided to never move a long distance again.
  30. Therefore, another major earthquake will not occur near where I move
  31. (We can hope!).
