- I am David Williams from Brigham Young University. I joined XCULT-L with
- hopes of finding others interested in cross-cultural inquiry (mostly
- qualitative). I am particularly interested in service learning in
- international settings. That is, what can one learn while offering service
- to others in settings beyond their home territory. I subscribed about two
- weeks ago and haven't seen much of this kind of thing in people's entries.
- Has such discussion gone on before? Are any of you aware of service
- learning inquiry you could point me toward? I find the railings against
- various governments and perceived majority positions interesting but I am
- looking for something constructive to do about the many problems and hope
- to learn about some of those here.
