  14. I am David Williams from Brigham Young University.  I joined XCULT-L with
  15. hopes of finding others interested in cross-cultural inquiry (mostly
  16. qualitative).  I am particularly interested in service learning in
  17. international settings.  That is, what can one learn while offering service
  18. to others in settings beyond their home territory.  I subscribed about two
  19. weeks ago and haven't seen much of this kind of thing in people's entries.
  20. Has such discussion gone on before?  Are any of you aware of service
  21. learning inquiry you could point me toward?  I find the railings against
  22. various governments and perceived majority positions interesting but I am
  23. looking for something constructive to do about the many problems and hope
  24. to learn about some of those here.
