  24. Did Dr. GRaham step on the feet of atheists???? Not quite. His presence
  25. might well have been offensive to people of many religious persuasions,
  26. including atheists.

  28. Many people of profound religious beleif find the singular inclusion of
  29. one religious viewpoint at events such as Clinton's coronation to be
  30. offensive and disciminatory. This does not make them atheists.

  32. I think Joyce's comments are valuable. Clinton's much vaunted
  33. inclusiveness strikes this Canadian observer as little more than a rehash
  34. of Bush's big tent.

  36. I was, however, very impressed by Maya Angelou's performance [although the
  37. poem was, like much 'poet laureate' oriented poetry, pretty grim in the
  38. literary dept.]
